When my stepdaughers were about 3 years old (twins) they were afraid of the vacuum as well. Do you know what I did? I let them plug it in and run the vacuum themselves! THEY LOVED IT & they are no longer afraid of the loud sound that comes from it.... just a thought. Hope she can get over some of these loud sounds soon for you.
