Natasha has begun a new (bad) habit of rotating 90°degrees whenever I place her in the playpen to sleep. And I must admit, it's incredibly annoying. Previously, each time I put her down she would lay there staring into space for five minutes and eventually fall asleep, but now she has begun this rotating habit every single time. Whether she is down for an afternoon nap or for the night, I always find her in this weird position (see photos below). The problem is that she's way too long to be sleeping like that and her feet stick into the sides of the playpen; it's almost like she makes it less comfortable for her to sleep. Silly baby, what do you say?
I wonder whether the television set is the reason she rotates; it stands right behind her so she might be rotating to get a view of the screen, but I've never actually caught her watching it or even staring at its direction. So the reason behind Natasha's rotating habit currently remains unknown.
