Of course it had to happen sometime, and it happened today. Well, actually it started yesterday. The watery eyes, the runny nose, the sleepless nights, the non-stop sneezing. My first suspicion was seasonal allergies as that's what I have the pleasure of dealing with right now, but her pedi confirmed it's a cold. He took a look at her throat and it was pretty enflamed. So our baby has her very first cold. Yay. 
On the brighter side of things, her ears were clear so an ear-infection was disqualified, which is good. The only meds Natasha may take at this point is children's Tylenol and Salinex nose drops to clear her nasal passages which are pretty stuffed right now. Anyway, needless to say she is pretty miserable. She is going from being smiley and happy one minute to another minute of complete misery. And of course I hope she's back to her normal self in no time. Having a sick baby royally sucks.
